Kayla

Kayla is a mouser extraordinaire. She appeared on our porch in early 2000 with 4 kittens, seeking accommodations. She pays in irregular installments of dead creatures on the doorstep (this payment method not available to the general public). We began calling her "Cow-la" because of her coloring and girth, and the name evolved into the current "Kayla".

Update for Kayla -- Now that Coal is dead, the mouse deposits have ceased. We reclaim the "Mouser Extraordinaire" title from Kayla, and award it posthumously to Coal.
