CHANGE IN SCHEDULE: No school Nov. 15th instead of 24th
PLEASE TURN IN INFOFLO ENVELOPES by THURSDAY

**Further Change in Schedule Grading day has been changed from November 24 to Nov. 15 as we said last week, so that grades will be done in time for the parent-teacher conferences on Nov. 16 – 19.  These will be ½ days – school lets out at 12:00 noon instead of 1:00 pm as noted before.  LUNCH WILL BE SERVED and A+ will start after lunch.

Photos:  The photographer will be back on Mon. Nov. 8 to take the pictures of the groups and any students or staff who were missed last time.

Mrs. Hiestand is in need of a volunteer parent to be her room parent.  She needs help with organization, filing, web page entries, copying and general help.

Plans for Workday: Rebuild fence between school and pasture, clear easement behind mauka Quonset (40 feet wide), clear and enlarge big playfield while removing dangerous metals.  Tools needed: Trucks to haul rubbish, chain saws, strong backs, cutting torches. Please check in at the multi-purpose room.  Bring only children that you wish to supervise.  With all the action it may be a dangerous place for our kids to be.  Please RSVP to Ted or Don Hughes if you can make it, even if for only half a day.

Board meeting this Thursday at 5:30, in the 7th-8th grade tent.

Voting:  Remember, tomorrow is voting day and we encourage you to use your right and privilege to make your voice heard.

Halloween Friday:  What a day of very clever, scary and beautiful costumes!  They were so good, in fact. that , they held a second parade for those who thought it was to be at 1:30. Thanks to all the mothers who I know spent long hours getting the students ready.  And you middle schoolers of the student council.  You made the day the success it was.

Inserts:. Parent Conference schedules for Middle School, lunch bills, Sign up for cookie sale, Scholastic Book Fair flyer.
