November accomplishments:  Our first bus is up and running. This is being used for daily route service to Ka'u, and will be used for school field trips as well. (There is no plan for daily route service elsewhere.) Ka'u was chosen by the VSAS board in order to boost our enrollment, and to offer help to those most in need -- both in distance from the school, and in lack of local school alternatives.)

 Five of our teachers attended the awards ceremony in Honolulu.  We get two – one for meeting the standards this year and one for getting it three years in a row. 

WORKDAY: The big campus clean-up effort is this Friday. Please call and let us know if you can make it.

 Cookie Sale:  The students have been told that whichever class brings the most pounds of cookies wins a pizza party.  Can you help out????
 

THERE WILL BE NO INFO FLO NEXT WEEK – THE WEEK OF PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES.

 KTA POINTS:  November 16 is the last day to gain points for our school, so stock up for Thanksgiving!

We will be ordering another batch of VSAS t-shirts sweatshirts & hooded sweatshirts – in adult & children's sizes. All shirts will feature same Tom Pico VSAS logo on the front. 

Complete the order form & return to school with payment by Wednesday, November 10. Drop off order forms & payment at school each morning or return in Info-Flo envelope

  All orders must be pre-paid.
