BUS DRIVER WANTED HALF-TIME, SPLIT SHIFT, Na’alehu-Volcano daily route.  Call Ted at 985-9800 or 967-7648.  Back up/occasional driver also wanted.  Need Hawaii CDL with airbrake and passenger endorsements.

 Recycling:  VSAS is recycling aluminum cans and plastic bottles.  Please kokua by placing only revenue earning uncrushed cans and plastic bottles in the designated container in the multipurpose building.  (We’ll keep a monthly running tally of cash earned for the school.)  Mahalo, Nao Wenkam.

Lost Gameboy: Lost Thursday 1/27 on the van that took students on the excursion.  BLUE GAMEBOY ADVANCE S.P. with game inside.  Reward $20.00, no questions asked.  Thanks, Kelly Amaral 640-1664.

Children’s Dental Health Month:  K-2: If you lost a tooth during the month of January or February.  You will get a “I lost my tooth” certificate from the Tooth Fairy at the end of the month.

Valentine’s Day:  The Student Council will be selling valentine candy grams this week, Thursday and Friday.  Cost: $1.00 for each candy gram.  Please support Student Council!

REMINDER about the cold weather:  Please send jackets or sweaters to school with your child.  It can get very cold up here, especially in the mornings.

CORRECTION for the 8th graders:  Geographic exception forms can be picked up from the school you wish your student to attend.

Water bottles:  Please give your students water bottles.  Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 9, no water or cups will be dispensed from the office.
