Attention 5th Grade Parents:  5th grade will be going swimming Nov. 28 and 30th!!!

Important request:  Please do not park in the student pick-up lane.  Parking is allowed only past the concrete pick-up area.  Thank you, Dr. Rizor

Middle School Performance:  Make sure you mark your calendar for Dec. 8th, 6 pm… Kilauea Theatre…Middle School Theatre Night.  Come prepared to laugh, laugh, laugh.

Fourth Grade Fundraiser: We would  like to announce another worthy and fantastic fundraising cause we are embarking on.  We are taking orders for 4 CDs that we are selling.  The first two CDs are to raise money for Hurricane victims and the second 2 CDs are to raise money for the 4th grade.  Stay tuned for more details. Parent Teacher Conferences:  These are scheduled for the week after Thanksgiving, Nov. 28 through Dec. 2.  You have received a schedule of the times for you to attend.  Lunch WILL be served before the students leave at 12 noon.

Cookie Sale/Services Auction Info
Cookie Bakers, please drop off your cookies at the Cooper Center Saturday, Nov. 26th  12-3:00pm. Set up will be from 3-5pm Saturday, for anyone who can help set up the cookies. If you pledged a donation for supplies and have not paid yet, please bring your cash or check to the VSAS office this week. Happy Thanksgiving to you all, and may we have a great success this weekend.

Hawaii State Assessment Science Field Testing – Grades 5 and 7
As required under Federal No Child Left Behind law and the State of Hawaii, our 5th and 7th graders will be participating in 3 sessions of field testing for the development of standard-based science tests, which will become a regular, mandated part of our State Assessment program.
