Parent Teacher Conferences:  These will  continue through Dec. 2.  You have already received a schedule of the times for you to attend.  Lunch WILL be served before the students leave at 12 noon.

Attention 5th Grade Parents:5th grade will be going swimming Nov.30th!!!

Middle School Performance:  Make sure you mark your calendar for Dec. 8th, 6 pm… Kilauea Theatre…Middle School Theatre Night.  Come prepared to laugh, laugh, laugh.  Naalehu parents: See insert re: bus schedule.

Update on T-shirts: Thank you to all of you who bought t-shirts and sweatshirts!  My latest information is that the screen printers have had to delay our order until late next week.  With time allowed for sorting and checking for quality, I'm hoping to have them ready to pick up at school by the 14th or 15th.  If you have any questions, please call me at 929-8557.     Thanks again for your support for VSAS!  Helen Hopkins.   P.S.  We did order extra (adult sizes), so if you missed the deadline and would still like a t-shirt or sweatshirt, give me a call.

Hawaii State Assessment Science Field Testing – Grades 5 and 7
As required under Federal No Child Left Behind law and the State of Hawaii, our 5th and 7th graders will be participating in 3 sessions of field testing for the development of standard-based science tests, which will become a regular, mandated part of our State Assessment program.

Cookie sale and Silent Auction and basket raffles:  Thanks to all who participated in time and donations!  It was a great success.  Accurate figures of our donation totals will be published in next week’s Info Flo. 

Inserts: Dec. Menu, 4th grade fundraiser, Bus pickup for Theatre night (Naalehu students only) Make up pictures for 8 students. 

P.S.  The bird on the last Info Flo is an Apapane, our school mascot, voted on by students last spring.
