VSAS PTO Kick-Off Meeting     Thursday March 8th, 4:30-6:00
Parents and teachers, please come to a pasta dinner and open-forum discussion to plan the formation of a VSAS parent teacher organization.  Your ideas and input are needed to determine the type of PTO that will most benefit our school community.  We will need to decide the purpose, structure, and goals of the organization, and get volunteers who are willing to facilitate the planning process.  Kalima Cayir has agreed to facilitate this first planning
meeting.  PTO is a great way for parents and teachers to support one another in helping our children be successful – both at school and at home.  Please clear time from your busy schedules to attend this important first planning meeting.
Childcare will be provided.  If you have any questions or are interested but cannot attend, please call Pineapple
Matabishop at 985-8768.
Submitted by:  Kim Miller, Counselor

Carpooling needed: From Mt. View area – Hawaiian Acres, Fern Forest.  Call Joyi at 756-0268 if you are interested.

THEATER HELP NEEDED: The K,1,2 & 3 graders are preparing for the spring musical production Branching Out. (Details for K-3 families should have come to you in the Info Flo two weeks ago. If you need another copy, email or call me.)
We are looking for a few parents who can help out behind stage during the presentations. We need assistance with tasks such as guiding the kids on and off stage and getting the right props dispersed and collected after each number. We need at least three helpers, four would be better.
At least two helpers need to be at the Kilauea Theater rehearsal (March 14, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.) and all helpers need to be at both performances (March 15, 9 to 10 a.m. and that night 6 to 7 p.m.).
If you or another family member might be available to help us, contact me at kagelerd002@hawaii.rr.com  or 967-8151.
This is shaping up to be a memorable performance. Please plan to join us. Thanks. Dina Kageler, Co-director.
