Teachers needed for 2007-2008: Music Teacher 20 hrs /week for K-8.
Also: Middle school teacher for full time science and /or math. Submit resumes to office. 
 
Parent Survey:  Please fill out the enclosed parent survey and return to Peggy in the envelope provided by Friday, May 25 .
 
Volunteer needed:  To haul old computer parts to recycling in Hilo.  Delivery to Hilo, May 26 between 10 am and 2 pm in parking lot next to the old gym at UH.  Call office if you can help. 

Artists In Action 2007, Saturday, May 26, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Volcano Garden Arts (19-3834 Old Volcano Road, in the Village)
This invitation is extended especially to VSAS families, although the event is open to the entire community. This group of Volcano artists offers strong support for arts education and on this day they bring their tools and skills to Volcano Garden Arts and set up to demonstrate techniques and inspire young artists. You may watch wood working, glass blowing, quilting, pottery throwing and more from some of our community’s professional artists.

VSAS Summer 2007 Enrichment Program
Day Program Ages 5-12
Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm
June 11 - Aug 3 (possible extension to Aug 10).
$60 per week. Limited scholarships available. 
Transportation from/to Pahala daily.
Swimming & outings every week. Fabric arts, mural painting, science projects, crafts, games and more!
Workshops a-la-Carte Ages 10 - 18
Ceramics with Dina Kageler, Digital Photography with Ken & Mary Goodrich, Drumming with Bruce David, Twirling/Circus Arts and Hip Hop with Annetta Lucero, Artistic Environment with Tiffany Schnittger. Dates, times, and fees vary by course.

Reminder about bills.  Since we are coming to the end of the school year, I’m reminding you all to get your bus and lunch payments in.  The last bills will be in the June 5 InfoFlo, and I’d really really appreciate it if all payments came to the office before school is out.  Thank you, Peggy
