Grading & Grubbing on the Big Island of Hawaii

The Big Island is experiencing accelerated and widespread clearance of the native forest. There are no regulations in place to control the problem. The people want to preserve the island's unique and fragile native ecosystems. We request that the upcoming revision of the Grading and Grubbing Ordinance include provisions to minimize further damage to the forest.
